Istanbul, are you happy today? Or are you tired? We all see and feel different emotions in this city…

In the workshop, children are invited to take their cue from the works of James Rizzi, a representative of the American Pop Art movement, and paint Istanbul bursting with colourful patterns and facial expressions as if straight out of a cartoon. Through this activity, children will reflect on their home city and open wide the colourful doors of creativity. At the end of the workshop, the neighbourhoods designed by each participating child will come together to create Istanbul, the city of emotions.
