This guided garden tour with biologist Burçin Çıngay invites participants aged 8 and above to discover Hara’s verdant plants and trees up close. Participants will have the chance to observe Hara’s rich flora and collect seeds from the garden before learning about them in detail.

Burçin Çıngay is a biologist working in the fields of plant systematics, ecology, and conservation biology. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Eskişehir Osmangazi University and his master’s degree in Botany at the same university’s Institute of Science. He received training in plant identification and horticulture at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Çıngay began his academic career in 2008 as a Herbarium Officer at Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden in Istanbul, and since 2010 he has been serving as Head of the Science Department and Herbarium Curator at the same institution. Çıngay has published extensively both in Turkey and abroad, and has contributed to scientific projects supported by institutions such as TÜBİTAK, TAGEM, and BAP, as well as to research led by various public organisations. He is currently a researcher and author for the Illustrated Flora of Turkey project and, since 2023, has been working as Secretary General of the Flora Research Association.
