Above the Clouds / Underground, a performance directed by İrem Aydın and co-created with Seçil Epik, returns to the stage after a long hiatus, this time at Hara.

Opening a doorway to imagining new queer worlds at the intersection of literature and theatre, the performance draws on texts produced during a creative writing workshop and brings them to life on stage. Featuring performances by Jilet Sebahat, Bulut Sezer, Akış Ka, Seçil Epik and Zeyno Erdost, Above the Clouds / Underground aims to offer a queer artistic experience that challenges boundaries and liberates the imagination.

Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for a fantastical journey that transcends time, space and borders, travelling from collective memory to lubunya futurism through stories shaped by the convergence of speculative fiction and queer imagination.
