Hara’s upcoming exhibition The Promises of Monsters, opening March 2026, explores the representation of bodies and states of being deemed monstrous, foregrounding gendered forms both human and more-than-human.

The third gathering in the exhibition’s public programme brings together Cemal Kafadar, Şehnaz Şişmanoğlu and Feray Coşkun for discussions on supernatural narratives, spanning the figure of the vampire, depictions of demonic beings and tales featuring the folkloric creature karakoncolos.
