Nisan Biçer is a jazz vocalist from Istanbul, now based in Hamburg. After early piano and choral training, she studied with Randy Esen in Istanbul and has performed widely with various ensembles. In 2022 she co-founded the Istanbul West Side Collective, winning the Genç Caz+ competition and performing at Jazz in the Parks (Istanbul Jazz Festival) and the Akra Jazz Festival. She has also joined international programmes such as the New York Jazz Academy and Siena Jazz Workshop. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Koç University, she is now studying jazz vocals at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg with Ulita Knaus and Konstantin Heintel, and performs regularly in Hamburg.

Barış Arslan began playing classical guitar at the age of 11 in Istanbul before turning to jazz, performing in clubs and festivals while also studying law. At 25 he worked closely with American guitarist Dave Allen, focusing on improvisation and rhythmic approaches. Two years later he formed a trio with Apostolos Sideris and Efe Oğur, blending jazz standards with original compositions. His debut album Zenith (2024), featuring all original material, premiered at the Akbank Jazz Festival.
