In “Water Music“, children aged 7–10, accompanied by an adult, are invited to listen to and observe the water around Hara’s pool.

Drawing on the shifting boundaries between human and non-human, living and non-living, and natural and artificial explored in The Promises of Monsters, the workshop approaches water as a creative partner with its own sound, rhythm and movement.

Participants create their own visual alphabets by listening to the sounds of the water and its surroundings, translating the rhythms they hear into lines and movement. At the end of the workshop, the individual works are brought together as a collective composition around Hara’s pool.
