Inspired by Hara’s group show The Promises of Monsters, this workshop offers young children an opportunity to explore the exhibition through sensory play and creative activities, encouraging curiosity, imagination and discovery.
The programme begins with a series of sensory games centred on looking and seeing. Together with their accompanying adults, children will explore selected works in the exhibition through observing their different colours, shapes, textures and stories.
In the second part of the programme, children will move into the workshop space, where, inspired by a selected artwork, they will be invited to use colour freely to create their own imaginative works.
