Drawing inspiration from Hara’s group exhibition The Promises of Monsters, this workshop aims to support young children’s physical, emotional and cognitive development through sensory play, artistic activities and rhythm exercises. Focusing on selected works from the exhibition, the process-led programme is designed to activate children’s senses, including smell, sight, hearing and touch, while encouraging interaction, curiosity and shared discovery.
In the first part of the programme, children will take part in playful sensory exercises in the exhibition space, engaging creatively with colours, textures and shapes. In the second part, they will work both individually and collectively to create paintings using a variety of everyday materials.
