Moderator: Yasemin Ülgen
As part of the public events programme centred around the exhibition Blossoms of Farewell, Yasemin Ülgen held a discussion with author Ezgi Hamzaçebi, discussing the emotional, literary, and theoretical associations the photographs in the exhibition evoke for them. In the talk, Hamzaçebi explored the exhibition’s kinship with the genre of “weird fiction” and examined how this genre opens up ethical and political possibilities for establishing justice for women, queer folk, and non-human beings.
