Led by Atölyepikolo, this workshop is designed for children aged 3–6 and their parents.

In the first part of the workshop, we will explore the group exhibition ”The Promises of Monsters” together. As we discover the alternative worlds artists have created using unexpected materials, we will also embark on a journey to explore the different emotions within ourselves, one step at a time.

During the creative part of the workshop, children, with the help of their accompanying adults, will design their own monster characters to represent three emotions they experience most often in everyday life. They will also create portable shadow theatre stages to bring their characters to life.

At the end of the workshop, the curtains will open, and with little hands leading the way, a colourful world of emotions will come alive and begin to dance.
